IWC presents the first IWC Ingenieur model ever crafted entirely from 18K 5N rose gold, with every component—case, case back ring, bezel, crown protection, crown, and bracelet links—made from this precious metal. It’s perfectly proportioned in a 40 or 35 mm case delivering exceptional ergonomics and comfort.

Featuring meticulously contrasted surface treatments including a satin-finished bezel with a polished outer edge, a fully polished case back ring, satin-finished H-links and center links on the integrated bracelet, and five functional screws secure the bezel to the case ring.

The IWC Ingenieur Automatic 40 in 18K 5N Rose Gold is equipped with a 40 mm case and a black dial that showcases the signature "Grid" structure—fine lines and squares creating dimensional depth and texture— of the new Ingenieur models. Hand-set solid gold appliques complement the design, with both appliques and hands filled with SuperLumiNova for optimal readability.

Sophisticated finishing combines satin and polished surfaces throughout: satin-finished bezel with polished outer edge, satin-finished H-links with polished edges, and fully polished center links and case back. Five functional screws secure the bezel. The black dial against the warm tones of the 18K 5N rose gold case creates a striking visual impact.

Through the transparent case back, the IWC-manufactured 32111 calibre reveals circular Geneva stripes, blued screws, and a gold-plated oscillating weight. The efficient double pawl winding system delivers an impressive 120-hour power reserve when fully wound.

On the wrist, the IWC Ingenieur Automatic 40 in 18K 5N Rose Gold wears true to its size and quite comfortably regardless of its hefty weight at 242.5 grams. A perfect addition to the IWC Ingenieur lineup and a watch that has made our wish list.

IWC Ingenieur Automatic 35 18K 5N Rose Gold

IWC expands the Ingenieur collection with this refined 35 mm model, reinterpreting the bold aesthetic of Gérald Genta's 1970s Ingenieur SL Reference 1832.

The Ingenieur Automatic 35 is equipped with a 35 mm 18K 5N rose gold case with a matching integrated bracelet and fitted with a gold-colored dial with matching gold appliques and hands. Every component has been meticulously adapted to the smaller case size, ensuring perfect proportions while maintaining the distinctive Ingenieur identity in a more compact, comfortable execution.

The signature "Grid" pattern dial features hand-mounted appliques filled with SuperLumiNova for excellent legibility in all conditions. The beige hue of the dial is the perfect match to the warm tones of the 18K 5N rose gold material throughout the watch.

The transparent case back reveals the 47110 calibre with circular graining, Geneva stripes, and a gold-plated oscillating weight. This movement delivers a power reserve of 42 hours when fully wound.

On the wrist, the new IWC Ingenieur Automatic 35 18K 5N rose gold wears just right despite its smaller construction. On a 7.5” wrist, the watch still fits right and doesn’t look too small. Regardless of its smaller case construction, this watch still packs a hefty weight of 186 grams.
