The Horological Brothers drew inspiration from their hometown of Oldenzaal, where the goddess 'Tanfana' once stood as a guardian of peace and harmony. The reference 1944 honors their mother Netty's birth year. While embracing new design codes and materials not previously seen in a Grönefeld timepiece, this watch maintains the exacting standards that have earned acclaim from watch enthusiasts worldwide. Turning the watch over reveals the gorgeous and flawlessly executed Grönefeld calibre G-06. This automatic movement is composed of 230 parts and 31 jewels, providing a power reserve of 56 hours when fully wound.
The movement features a 22K solid red gold oscillating mass that is finished by hand and that includes an 18K white gold insert with the ‘Tree of Life’.
