ArtyA's latest in-house movement with a 72-hour power reserve, the Stairway To Heaven HMS, is at the heart of this remarkable timepiece. This manual wound calibre reflects the brand’s commitment to visual brilliance and technical excellence. It includes a minute wheel train, and balance bridges are microbead-frosted and hand-chamfered for an impeccable finish.
The escapement, pulsing at 4 Hz—28,800 vph—, is dramatically stratified and suspended mid-air, taking center stage like a work of art. Fine traditional regulation ensures precision, with the balance wheel’s inertia adjusted using peripheral weights to maintain consistent oscillation, ensuring chronometric stability. Twin barrels with extended, finer mainsprings deliver a smoother, more stable energy release.
The polished barrel blade reduces friction, enhancing efficiency. The curving lines of the redesigned drum barrels seamlessly integrate into the bold bridge architecture, completing the movement's refined aesthetic. The movement proudly bears the manufacturer’s name and calibre.
A bold evolution of the Wavy collection, the case is now crafted from grade 5 titanium, a material renowned for its strength and lightness. Titanium balances modernity and innovation, providing exceptional comfort while maintaining durability. A matte finish, achieved through meticulous hand polishing and microbead frosting, gives the case a sophisticated texture. A transparent DLC coating boosts resistance to scratches, shocks, and fingerprints. For reference, stainless steel has a Vickers hardness of 200 HV, titanium 400 HV, and DLC-treated titanium reaches an impressive 1,200 HV—1,800 HV for black DLC.

The Wavy Titanium’s mirror case back introduces an unprecedented innovation—a world-first in watchmaking: The fully reflective surface offers a new, captivating way to experience the movement. From the front, the mirrored bottom creates the illusion of depth, with the movement appearing to float in space, enhancing the ethereal purity of the skeletonized caliber. From the back, the one-way mirror effect teases the complexity of the movement, adding an element of mystery while maintaining sophistication.
