Today, Panerai is unveiling a new collection composed of three new watches and two have been released so far. Both watches feature a deep blue sunburst dial that evokes the blue tones of the Mediterranean Sea after the collection has been named. A 42 mm stainless steel Radiomir PAM 1144 and one in 45 mm Radiomir PAM 1078. Both watches are delivered on a dark blue alligator strap with beige contrast stitching. Besides the case size, another difference between these two new watches is the dial design where the bigger model features Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6 and 9, and the smaller model only at 12, 3 and 6 o’clock. Both watches are water resistant to 100 meters.
Panerai Radiomir Mediterraneo Edition PAM 1078
The new Panerai Radiomir Mediterraneo Edition PAM 1078 features a satin-brushed titanium case measuring 45 mm in diameter along with a deep blue sunburst dial with Arabic numerals 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock and superluminova in beige. The watch is delivered on a dark blue alligator strap with beige contrast stitching and secured by a pin buckle. Turning the watch over reveals a display case back with a white wave pattern printed on the inside of the sapphire crystal. The beating heart powering the Panerai Radiomir Mediterraneo Edition PAM 1078 is the in-house Panerai 31-jewel automatic calibre P.4000. This movement provides a power reserve of 3 days when fully wound.

The new Panerai Radiomir Mediterraneo Edition PAM 1144 features a mirror-polished stainless case measuring 42 mm in diameter along with a deep blue sunburst dial with Arabic numerals at 12, 3 and 6 o’clock and superluminova in beige. The watch is delivered on a dark blue alligator strap with beige contrast stitching and secured by a pin buckle. Turning the watch over reveals a display case back with a white wave pattern printed on the inside of the sapphire crystal.
