TGIF, and just because of that, how about we now talk about another one of those gorgeous looking pieces from H. Moser & Cie. so you can dream and think about it the whole weekend. The new Baselworld 2016 Venturer Tourbillon Dual Time in 18K white gold is a perfect addition to the existent Venturer Tourbillon Dual Time line. This exceptional timepiece where simplicity and clean lines are the name of the game. The H. Moser & Cie. Venturer Tourbillon Dual Time is definitely an uber classic timepiece with a perfectly sized 18K white gold case measuring 41.5 mm in diameter and 14.3 mm in thickness, and this time finally available with a white enamel dial.
The white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, interchangeable Moser minute tourbillon at 6 o'clock, blued leaf-shaped hands for the hours and the minute, a striking contrasting bright red hand for the dual time zone complication make this timepiece classic, elegant and strikingly beautiful at the same time. The dial, featuring a domed shape and stepped tri-dimensional construction is inspired by traditional pocket watches. The new H. Moser & Cie. Venturer Tourbillon Dual Time features a tourbillon cage at 6 o'clock that lends it a delicately elegant and timeless design. The blued hands —our favorite feature— provide a remarkable level of contrast against the white clean lines of its dial. The bottom part of the dial its actually an openworked bridge with hand guilloché motif in 'Côtes de Genève Rayonantes' that bring the tourbillon to life and add another dimension to the construction of the dial.
The 18K white gold case —this watch is also available in 18K red gold with silver dial or red gold fumé and in 18K white gold with Ardoise dial or blue fumé dial—, features the ergonomic case design now traditional of the H. Moser & Cie. timepieces, and opposed to the Endeavour line, the Venturer features super thin lugs that enhance the look of watch and deviate the attention towards the dial.
The beating heart powering the H. Moser & Cie. Venturer Tourbillon Dual Time is the in-house manual wound calibre HMC 802. The movement is quite thin and wide measuring 34.0 mm in diameter and 6.5 mm in thickness, therefore, perfectly suited to fit the case size. Equipped with Moser teeth for all wheels and pinion, 29 jewels, pallet fork and escapement wheel made from gold and an interchangeable Moser minute tourbillon—designed to simplify the servicing of the watch—, the movement provides a power reserve of 3 days when fully wound. The calibre beats at a frequency of 21,600 vph. The movement and all components are hand-finished and exceptionally decorated including the gorgeous 18K red gold skeletonized oscillating weight that makes this movement even more beautiful.
On the wrist, the H. Moser & Cie. Venturer Tourbillon Dual Time wears true to its size and with very special wrist presence. Wearing a watch that is very rare and exclusive makes one feel like a million bucks. If you like exclusivity and impeccable craftsmanship, H. Moser & Cie. brings amazing watches at still very reasonable prices. This new watch is equipped with a supple matte black alligator strap with 18K white gold that is extremely comfortable.
