W&W 2025: Hublot Big Bang Unico Magic Ceramic (Live Photos)

Along with other watches that were presented by Hublot to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its iconic Big Bang collection this year at Watches & Wonders 2025, Hublot has unveiled the Big Bang Unico Magic Ceramic ref. 441.CIB.1171.RX with a micro-blasted and polished black ceramic case paired with a very unique-looking polished manufacture multicolor ceramic bezel with blue dots.

The most striking feature of this new watch is its bezel and no two bezels are ever alike as each will yield different final results once produced. Hublot has been at the forefront of ceramic innovation in watchmaking, and this watch along with the other novelties released this year continues this tradition with its proprietary ceramic formulation.

Hublot's materials engineers have developed a patented high-pressure, high-temperature sintering process that allows the vibrant red pigment to be preserved throughout the ceramic material. The result is a case with exceptional scratch resistance —measuring approximately 1500 Vickers on the hardness scale—combined with a color intensity previously impossible in ceramic watchmaking.

The Hublot Big Bang Unico Magic Ceramic ref. 441.CIB.1171.RX maintains the distinctive Big Bang aesthetic with its bold architectural case design, exposed screws, and multi-layered construction. The 42 mm case features a combination of micro-blasted and polished black ceramic surfaces that highlight the ceramic's unique properties.

The intense colors on its bezel are complemented by black composite resin elements and titanium hardware. The lack of dial is striking with a grey and black color scheme that provides excellent contrast against the blue and grey bezel.

Powering this edition is Hublot's in-house HUB1280 UNICO automatic movement with flyback chronograph, column-wheel mechanism, and a power reserve of 72 hours.

The new Hublot Big Bang Unico Magic Ceramic is delivered on a black structured rubber strap featuring Hublot's quick-release system and a deployant clasp in black ceramic and black-plated titanium. This combination ensures the watch remains comfortable despite its substantial presence on the wrist. Since the original Big Bang debuted in 2005, the collection has been Hublot's platform for material innovation, from Magic Gold—the world's first scratch-resistant gold alloy—to sapphire crystal cases, and now this very unique ceramic bezel.
