This stunning dress watch from the Elegance collection is cased in 18K rose gold bearing an incredible dial in hues of light pink resembling the Japanese ‘Sakura’ —cherry blossoms. The dial’s embossed pattern, like petals floating on water and has an incredible texture that is better appreciated in the metal. The case measures 38.5 mm in diameter and 10.2 mm in thickness, and the look of the watch is further distinguished by the harmony between the dual curved sapphire crystal and the flowing precious metal case with its refined form and stepped bezel.
The watch is powered by the manual-wound calibre 9R31, assembled by the skilled artisans of the Shinshu Watch Studio, where Grand Seiko Spring Drive watches are made. This movement provides a power reserve of 72 hours and an accuracy of ±15 seconds per month —±1 second per day. The exquisitely finished movement can be appreciated via the display case back. The movement features a power reserve indicator on the mainplate.
