Back in 2018, I stumbled upon the Ferrari Gallery in the Dallas Design District and I was blown away by what I had just discovered. Here’s the article we published about the gallery and the works of James Ferrari that includes incredible sculptures that are created out of salvage Ferrari parts from modern Ferraris. The Ferrari Gallery is located in Dallas’ Design District and is led by husband and wife James and Debra Ferrari —both renowned artists.
This Dallas’ leading art gallery features the works from James and Debra along with the works of art from other artists including Max Jones, Kosmas Ballis, Jeremy McKane, and now myself, Halim Trujillo.
I am an artist, founder, and lead photographer for Watch Collecting Lifestyle. WCL is one of the leading global destinations for luxury watch content as well as luxury content around automobiles, food, wine, cigars, fashion, and style. Halim was born in 1972 in Mexico City but grew up between Mexico and New York City. I am a painter since age 15, my work as an artist was first featured by the Latin Arts Association of Fort Worth in 2007. While early in my career as an artist I mainly focused on doing acrylics and oil on canvas, in 2010 I decided to start exploring still life luxury photography. With my innate talent, lighting, and mood, and my eye for composition, I create breathtaking images bringing my creative vision to life. I consider myself a sybarite and I show my passion for the finer things in life through the lens and my images, allowing the viewer to live vicariously through them. I specialize in still life, portraits, and flat lay photography, all in the luxury realm.
The first photographic collection to become available at the Ferrari Art Gallery is part of the series “Watch Life Automobiles”. ‘Watchlife’ is a term and hashtag that was created by WCL and which now has more than 182,000 posts on Instagram. Through ‘watchlife’ I highlight the things that are often part of the lifestyle of watch collectors giving our readers and followers a glimpse into automobiles, food, wine, cigars, fashion, and style that make the watch collecting lifestyle.
These four iconic WCL images are printed in large format —40” Tall x 60” Wide— aluminum with a high-gloss finish and exclusively sold in a limited edition of 5 pieces each. Once they are gone, they’re gone. After these first series are gone, we will release another set of four ‘watchlife’ images for sale.
