W&W 2025: Tudor Pelagos Ultra. Bigger, Bolder and with Greater Depth Rating (Live Photos).

The new Tudor Pelagos Ultra is a bigger, bolder, and with a greater depth rating version of the Tudor Pelagos we all love. Its case is made of Grade 2 titanium—Grade 5 for the case back—measuring 43 mm in diameter and offering a depth rating of 1,000 meters, which is double the water resistance of its sibling, the Pelagos 42 mm, and five times the depth rating of the Pelagos 39 mm.

Engineered specifically to overcome the challenges associated with saturation diving, this is the most technically capable Pelagos ever made, with 1,000 meters of water resistance, a proprietary bracelet adjustment system, and a 43 mm titanium case. It represents a giant stride in technical advancements with a Master Chronometer Certification from METAS. The Pelagos Ultra is available on bracelet or rubber strap

The Pelagos Ultra is powered by the Tudor automatic calibre MT5612-U, which has a power reserve of 65 hours and is METAS certified. The watch features a matte black dial with a matte ceramic unidirectional rotating bezel and a touch of color with the PELAGOS writing in turquoise. The bracelet on the Pelagos Ultra has also been redesigned compared to the bracelet on its siblings, with this deep-diving brief in mind.

The Pelagos Ultra model is supplied with an entirely satin-brushed titanium bracelet that is equipped with a special adjustable clasp for rapid length adjustment. There is a visual indicator on the clasp that includes a luminous marker in turquoise to easily discern what setting the bracelet is at, a first for the Pelagos line.

The Pelagos Ultra also comes with a second strap made of black rubber, with a titanium pin buckle, that attaches to the case with titanium end links. Also included is a rubber extension piece that makes it possible to lengthen the strap even further, by up to 110 millimeters.
