The new Tudor Black Bay Chrono Blue Boutique Edition ref. M79360B-0002 is the newest addition to the Black Bay collection and a watch that pays tribute to the long history of Tudor and blue dials. Tudor has a very long history of releasing blue dials since the early days of the Mini-Sub, the Ranger, and the Snowflake and Lollypop Submariners. The new Tudor Black Bay Chrono Blue Boutique Edition ref. M79360B-0002 is an automatic 45-minute chronograph powered by the Tudor Manufacture Calibre MT5813.

Things to Know About the Watch

The new Tudor Black Bay Chrono Blue Boutique Edition is a column-wheel chronograph with a vertical clutch featuring Tudor finishing, a Tudor regulating organ, a Tudor oscillating weigh, equipped with a 41 mm case in stainless steel, and a blue anodized aluminum insert. The watch is delivered on a five-link bracelet resembling the Rolex Jubilee bracelet with Tudor ‘T-fit’ clasp.

The new Tudor Black Bay Chrono Blue Boutique Edition features a blue sunburst dial with applied markers and silver registers with a bi-compax layout with a 45-minute chrono register at 3 o’clock, running seconds register at 9 o’clock and date aperture at 6 o’clock. The dial is extremely beautiful and a true chameleon that varies depending on lighting conditions. This is the kind of watch where pictures don’t do justice.

The whole watch has a vintage aura, especially with its Tudor snowflake hour hand. The ‘millerighe’ screw-down chrono pushers also give the watch a very vintage Rolex Cosmograph Daytona aura. The icing on the cake is the red writing for the depth rating of the watch.
