The first time that Panerai released a case made out of Carbotech was in 2015 with the introduction of the Panerai Luminor Submersible 1950 CarboTech 3 Days Automatic PAM 616. Back then, Carbotech was a remarkable new technical innovation by using a composite material based on carbon fiber, that was never before used in the world of watchmaking and a technology owned by Panerai.
