Introducing: Angelus Flying Tourbillon Titanium Blue. A 25-piece Limited Edition.

Angelus introduces the new Flying Tourbillon Titanium Blue Edition, a striking new timepiece that explores the interplay between circular forms and open-worked design. The 42.5 mm case features the brand’s signature contemporary architecture, combining a carbon composite core with a titanium case middle and a notched bezel. The watch is sold in a limited edition of 25 pieces and is delivered on a matching titanium bracelet and it includes interchangeable straps in rubber and alligator leather. Alternatively, the watch can also be purchased without the bracelet on an alligator strap which includes a rubber strap as part of the deal.

The case is built in two key parts with a lightweight, rigid carbon composite container that safeguards the movement and a six-piece titanium outer structure that encases and secures the inner mechanism. The open-worked case middle expands toward the crown, which bears the Angelus logo. A 12-notched bezel frames the sapphire crystal, while faceted lugs house the interchangeable bracelet system.

The dial features floating Arabic numerals, suspended between the sapphire crystal and blue PVD-treated bridges, adding depth and rhythm to the design. The inaugural edition is finished in blue, extending from the movement to the flange and the interchangeable alligator leather and rubber straps. At 6 o’clock the flying tourbillon takes the center stage. The open-worked elements—from the way light interacts with the movement’s openings—along with the layered depths of the calibre create a contrasting visual symphony that is unparalleled. A running seconds subdial is located at 9 o’clock to balance the open-worked large mainspring barrel between 12 and 1 o’clock.

Its design plays with contrasts, balancing colored bridges, flange, and minute track against generously applied white SuperLumiNova on the bold Arabic numerals. This interplay enhances the rhodium-plated movement components, creating a visually dynamic composition.

The beating heart inside the Angelus Flying Tourbillon Titanium Blue Edition is the A-310 manual wound calibre with a 60-hour power reserve. This meticulously crafted movement is equipped with a flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock and its signature open-worked three-armed wheels—a hallmark of Angelus—, interlock seamlessly, leading the eye to the timepiece’s most captivating feature: the flying tourbillon. Positioned at 6 o’clock, its 160-degree-angled carriage bridge introduces a subtle asymmetry, further accentuating the watch’s technical precision.

Sticker Price CHF 47,000—approx USD 52,000—on the bracelet and CHF 45,000—approx USD 50,000—on the alligator strap. For more info on Angelus click here.
