The vibrant color palette, luxurious 18K yellow gold case, and technical refinement of both the Oysterflex bracelet and black Cerachrom bezel create a contrast of remarkable originality. The dial showcases snailed counters, 1K gold applique hour markers, and hands with Chromalight display—a highly legible luminescent material that ensures perfect readability in all conditions.
This Cosmograph Daytona with Cerachrom bezel comes equipped with Rolex's patented Oysterflex bracelet, which uniquely combines a metal bracelet's durability with an elastomer bracelet's comfort. Its construction features two flexible curved titanium blades—one in each bracelet section—over-molded with high-performance black elastomer. The Oysterflex bracelet includes interior cushions for comfort, an oysterlock safety clasp preventing accidental opening and is adjustable via the innovative Rolex Glidelock extension system.
A defining feature of this model is its bezel with molded tachymetric scale for measuring average speeds up to 400 miles or kilometers per hour. Balancing cutting-edge technology with elegant aesthetics, the black cerachrom bezel pays homage to the 1965 model fitted with a black Plexiglas bezel insert.

The 18K yellow gold case has a substantial presence but remains comfortable due to its well-proportioned dimensions and the ergonomic design of the Oysterflex bracelet. The Oysterflex bracelet is particularly noteworthy for comfort, featuring interior cushions that prevent the watch from sliding while maintaining airflow between the wrist and bracelet.
While not our cup of tea as we find the turquoise dial and the black bezel a little too clashing, the turquoise-blue lacquer dial creates a striking visual impact against the gold case.
