Equipped with a 36 mm 18K Everose gold —Rolex’s proprietary alloy made in its foundry— case, this new version of the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Day-Date 36 introduces a blue-green dial unlike any other. New for the collection, the Day-Date 36 Everose Blue-Green Dial ref. 128395TBR features a bezel set with 60 trapeze-cut diamonds and a dial with 10 baguette-cut diamonds serving as markers.
The sunray finish creates delicate light reflections. This finish is obtained using masterful brushing techniques that create grooves running outwards from the center of the dial. Once the sunray finish has been completed, the dial color is applied using a PVD —Physical Vapour Deposition— technique. Then, a light coat of varnish is applied to the dial to give it its final look. This is the first time that this type of bezel has been featured on an 18K gold version of the Rolex Day-Date.
On the Wrist & Price
On the wrist, the Rolex Day-Date 36 Everose Blue-Green Dial ref. 128395TBR wears true to its size and simply incredibly. Even on a bigger wrist like ours at 7.5” in circumference, the Rolex Day-Date 36 Everose Blue-Green Dial fits well without looking too small.
The new watch is powered by the automatic movement calibre 3255 with paramagnetic blue parachrom hairspring, Paraflex shock absorbers, and a bi-directional rotor which provides a power reserve of 70 hours. This COSC movement has a deviation of -2/+2 sec/day.
