The Reservoir Sonomaster collection takes its inspiration from measuring instruments widely used in the world of sound or Hi-Fi. The new Reservoir Sonomaster Chronograph Vintage Bi-Retrograde Black and Beige features two retrograde hands that faithfully reproduce the hands of power measurements or VU meters from analog vintage stereo amplifiers. A tribute to the human quest for a ‘pure’ sound, a musical exploration full of audacity and intensity.
This new bi-retrograde —date and seconds opposite from one another— watch inaugurates the first chronograph model from Reservoir with a central seconds hand, a 30-minute counter at 12 o’clock, and a 60-minute totalizer counter at six o’clock. The watch is equipped with a 43 mm case in stainless steel with a satin-brushed finish and black and beige dials with hands filled with SuperLumiNova. The bezel features a tachymeter scale and the winding crown takes its inspiration from an amplifier control knob with chrono pushers inspired by bass and treble knobs.
Turning the watch over reveals the automatic movement calibre RSV-Bi120 with column wheel chronograph —LJP-LC01 base— which provides a power reserve of 60 hours when fully wound.
The Reservoir Sonomaster Chronograph Vintage Bi-Retrograde Black Beige is delivered on a black calf leather strap with white contrast stitching and a stainless steel butterfly folding clasp.
