Designed in collaboration with READYMADE, Purnell Unveils three ultra-limited watches. with one of the trendiest fashion labels. The brand name READYMADE asserts its antithesis against ready-made items. This brand circulates disused items to be destroyed and transforms them by giving them a new life. From its inception, Hosokawa conveys his antiwar message for the world, a vision where war and dispute are not worthy, and his stance against mass production by using vintage military fabrics and giving a new value to a salvage duffle bag or a tent. Three exclusive models that are limited to five watches for each edition featuring the world’s first bicolor —in neon orange and lime green— Spherion tourbillons. The watches are cased in three different materials with a 48 mm case. Carbon, WPM —White Purnell Microfiber— and Sapphire, each in a limited edition of 5 pieces.
The Strap is made of original vintage U.S. military WWII fabric. The right barrel is engraved with READYMADE Vision of Time Inspired by Thomas Edison: “TIME IS REALLY THE ONLY CAPITAL THAN ANY HUMAN BEING HAS AND THE THING THAT HE CAN LEAST AFFORD TO WASTE OR LOSE.” The left barrel shows the READYMADE logo as well as the crown, case back ring, and strap buckle.
