On October 24th, 1935, Panerai launched the first Radiomir prototype. Today, Panerai commemorates this milestone with the new Radiomir Perpetual Calendar GMT Goldtech PAM01453 celebrating the Radiomir's ensuring legacy. A Boutique Exclusive, this latest Perpetual Calendar timepiece combines cutting-edge timekeeping with the iconic Radiomir design. Featuring a cushion-shaped case measuring 45 mm in diameter, a cone-shaped crown, and the SuperLumiNova-filled sandwich dial, the new PAM01453 honors Panerai's heritage while elevating modern horology.
Equipped with a white sun-brushed dial, set in a 45 mm Panerai Goldtech case and paired with a brown alligator strap.
The display case back reveals the automatic Panerai P.4100 calibre, a movement that features a GMT complication with AM/PM indication on the dial, day of the week and date aperture on the dial side, a 3-day power reserve with indicator on the movement side as well as the month, year —in a 4-digit format—, and leap year indicators on the movement side.
Its innovative design allows for intuitive crown-based adjustments of the day, date, month, and leap year without the need for any tools or correctors. While being able to adjust everything through the crown, having most of the indications of a perpetual calendar —month, year, leap year— on the back of the watch defeats the purpose of having a perpetual calendar on the wrist.
