A long-awaited complication for Panerai and one of our favorite releases from the brand during Watches & Wonders 2023. The new Panerai Radiomir Annual Calendar is the very first annual calendar for the brand and it comes in two different metals. The first one is in Goldtech under reference PAM1363 sporting a gorgeous gradient sun-brushed blue dial and the other one is in a highly exclusive limited edition in Platinumtech under reference PAM1432 with a gradient sun-brushed burgundy dial. The latter is an experience edition that comes accompanied by an exclusive Panerai experience where every owner of this timepiece will be invited to participate in an extraordinary journey to Rome, the capital of Italy.
Both of the new Radiomir Annual Calendar watches feature 45 mm cases in Goldtech and Platinumtech respectively. While we love the calendar indications in Italian, many might not feel the same about it. A double aperture at 3 o’clock indicates the day of the week and the date, while an inner rotating ring on the periphery of the dial indicates the month via an arrow located next to the double aperture.
A corrector on the case band is located at the 8 o ‘clock position. The gradient sun-brushed sandwich dial filled with Super-Luminova is stunning and a real treat for the eyes in both versions.
The new Panerai Radiomir Annual Calendar is powered by the automatic Panerai calibre P.9010/AC with a power reserve of 3 days. The movement is visible via the display case back.
On the wrist, the Radiomir Annual Calendar wears true to its size and is not very heavy despite its Goldtech construction. A stunning watch that is delivered on a patinated blue crocodile strap with a pin buckle. A wonderful execution for one of our favorite complications out there.
Sticker Price $39,200 USD for Goldtech and $88,100 USD for Platinumtech. For more info on Officine Panerai click here.
