News: Vacheron Constantin Launches a Reverse Panda Dial for the Overseas Chronograph and a Black Dial for the Overseas Date

Originally launched in 1996 and revamped in 2004 and in 2016, the Vacheron Constantin Overseas is the perfect sporty yet elegant option offered by this manufacture. While in 2016 the Overseas received its biggest facelift ever, today, Vacheron Constantin has decided to add two new dials to the collection. As a first for the brand and for the Overseas collection comes a glossy black reverse panda dial with silvered chrono registers. The second one is a jet black glossy dial for the Overseas Date model.

While the Overseas Date is fitted with a 41 mm case, the Overseas Chronograph features a more generous 42.5 mm stainless steel case. The new watches just like the rest of the new Overseas collections is delivered with its three interchangeable bracelet/straps. Therefore, the watches come with its stainless steel bracelet featuring an easy-fit sizing system and two straps, one in rubber and the other in black alligator leather supplied with an adjustable stainless steel folding clasp.

The Vacheron Constantin Overseas Date ref. 4500V-110A-B483 is powered by the in-house automatic calibre 5100 with 60-hour power reserve. This movement is composed of 172 parts and beats at a frequency of 28,800 vph. The display case back reveals the precious 22K gold oscillating weight adorned with a wind rose.

Meanwhile, the Overseas Chronograph ref. 5500V-110A-B480 is powered by the in-house automatic calibre 5200. This 263-parts calibre is the result of a five-year development process and is fitted with a column wheel coordinating the chronograph start, stop and reset functions, as well as a vertical coupling clutch preventing any jerking of the hand when the chronograph starts. Just like on the Overseas Date, the display case back also reveals the precious 22K gold oscillating weight adorned with a wind rose.
