A long power reserve of eight days is shared by three new creations of the Panerai Manufacture in Neuchâtel: three Luminor with characteristics which make each model new and unique, while strongly maintaining the unmistakable Panerai identity. The new Panerai Luminor 8 Days Power Reserve watches are powered by the new in-house manual wound calibre P.5002 —with the exception of the left-handed model that is powered by the calibre P.5001 also in-house. Fitted with a 44 mm case, the new Luminor 8 days Power Reserve is available in three different models. All models are fitted with solid case backs with the exception of the left-handed model fitted with a display case back. Additionally, all three watches are water resistant to 300 meters and supplied with a secondary strap in rubber that is black for the PAM795 and PAM796 and brown for the titanium reference PAM796.
Panerai Luminor 8 Days Power Reserve Steel PAM 795
The first one is the stainless steel PAM 795 with a classic black sandwich dial with beige superluminova, a small seconds counter at 9 o’clock and for the first time with a power reserve indicator located at 5 o’clock. This indicator features now an arrow hand inspired by some Panerai watches from the the late 1990s Vendome era.

Panerai Luminor 8 Days Power Reserve ‘Destro’ PAM796
Lastly comes the ‘destro’ —a left-handed— version in stainless steel PAM796. Oddly in the case of this particular model, the power reserve indicator is not located on the dial but on the movement and is visible once the watch is removed from the wrist and turned over. Additionally, the ‘destro’ model features a running seconds indicator at 3 o’clock and an ‘8 Days’ writing in blue. The watch is delivered on a black calf strap with beige contrast stitching and blue stitching accents —near the lugs area— matching the writing on the dial.

Panerai Luminor 8 Days Power Reserve Titanium PAM797
Then comes the PAM797 with a grade 5 titanium case and crown protecting device also in titanium and a gorgeous brown dial . This model is distinguished by its lighter colored beige strap that matches the beige superluminova perfectly. The case back on this watch is solid just like that on the PAM795.
