W&W 2025: Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Geographic (Live Photos)

Inspired by the iconic 1931 models, the new Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Geographic embodies the pinnacle of the Grande Maison's watchmaking mastery. The front features a lacquered blue Art Deco-style dial, with a patented Grande Date for exceptional legibility. On the reverse, the world time complication is both innovative and intuitive.

Equipped with a stainless steel case measuring 49.4 x 29.9 x 11.14 mm, the Reverso Tribute Geographic offers a world time complication with a 24-hour rotating disc. The rotating 24-hour world time disc is paired with city names engraved directly on the steel case, while polished silver continents contrast beautifully against the hand-lacquered blue oceans. Adjustments are made using a sliding pusher, allowing hour-by-hour corrections.

The miniature world map is crafted with a needle through laser engraving and hand-applied lacquer using a needle. First, the oceans are delicately hollowed out using a laser, and then hand-applied lacquer fills the ocean areas. This meticulous process, involving several polishing stages, creates a subtle three-dimensional effect highlighting the piece's depth and artistry. The city names are then precisely engraved onto the case back, finishing this visually striking and technically remarkable complication.

The World Time complication of Calibre 834 is designed for both clarity and ease of use. A hidden pusher at the top of the case, accessible when the case is removed from the cradle, enables effortless adjustments. The tactile pusher provides a precise, sharp click, allowing for seamless 1-hour corrections.

The Grande Date display exemplifies Jaeger-LeCoultre's signature understated elegance. Its refined design, achieved by using two side-by-side discs rather than the typical stacked configuration, ensures perfect alignment of both digits. This subtle yet sophisticated detail elevates the watch’s aesthetic, seamlessly integrating the complication into the iconic Reverso case.

The watch is accompanied by two bracelets designed by Casa Fagliano: one in blue leather and the other a combination of leather and canvas in the same shade of blue. A double folding buckle secures the strap. Powering the Reverso Tribute Geographic is the manual wound JLC calibre 834, composed of 209 parts and providing a power reserve of 42 hours.
