The new Hublot Square Bang is the first square-shaped watch for the brand. Reminiscent of the Santos de Cartier —without calling it an absolute copycat— is it almost impossible not to think of the Santos 100 when looking at this new watch from Hublot. Five new watches compose the new Hublot Square Bang collection and all are equipped with the new Unico 2 calibre designed to equip smaller chronographs and also open the world of Hublot to new enthusiasts. Based on the HUB1280 UNICO Manufacture Self-winding Chronograph Flyback Movement with Column Wheel movement, it retains the unique design of its former version with a double coupling system visible from the dial side and a 72-hour power reserve.
Released in grade 5 titanium, 5-grade titanium with black ceramic bezel, King Gold, Unico King Gold with black ceramic bezel, and all-black ceramic —in a limited edition of 250 pieces. Equipped with a 42 mm case —featuring the Hublot quick strap change system—, the watches are all delivered on black rubber straps with deployant clasps.
As a master of fusion and an alchemist of precious metals, Hublot has developed a new gold color with a warmer shade than the traditional 5N 18K gold. Containing mainly platinum, this exclusive King Gold alloy perfectly lends itself to all elements of polishing and satin finishing. Hublot watches blend the most unexpected materials like high-tech ceramic, rubber, and carbon.
Sticker Price $23,100 USD titanium, $24,100 USD titanium with ceramic bezel, $26,200 USD all-black ceramic, $39,900 USD King Gold with ceramic bezel, and $43,100 USD full King Gold. For more info on Hublot click here.
