After the success of the first iteration of the Hermès H08 designed in 2021 by Philippe Delhotal, a new iteration has just been presented sporting a case in aluminized glass fiber. This new model comes in four different colors including yellow, green, blue, and orange with matching colorful straps.
The 39 mm x 39 mm cushion-shaped case of this new Hermès H08 is fashioned from a block of composite. Both light and sturdy, this material with its unique appearance is made of braided and aluminized glass fiber and slate powder. This natural pigment gives it subtle silvery reflections against which the black ceramic bezel and crown stand out, creating a play on light and shade that highlights the depth of the concrete-colored dial with its fine finish, punctuated by black hands and luminescent applied Arabic numerals.
The dials are varnished and grained in concrete-color with silica composite hour-markers coated with SuperLumiNova. Touches of yellow, green, blue, or orange on the watch-glass seal, the minutes track and the varnished seconds hand accentuate the clarity of this display.
The new Hermès H08 with Aluminized Glass Fiber Case is powered by the Hermès in-house movement calibre H1837. This automatic movement composed of 193 parts and 28 jewels provides a power reserve of 50 hours.
The watches are delivered on a rubber strap with a structured ‘woven’ effect matching the colors of each model. On the wrist, they wear true to their size and extremely light due to the nature of its case material. A stunning set of watches that brings the H08 to a new level.
