Flora Adora is the latest release within the Cabinet of Curiosities line from Hendrick’s Gin. Hendrick’s Gin is produced by the family-owned William Grant & Sons distillery in Scotland and their gin is distilled at the Girvan distillery which mainly focuses on distilling whiskey. Here at WCL, we’ve talked about other limited editions from Hendrick’s Cabinet of Curiosities including Orbium, Lunar, and Midsummer Solstice.
Flora Adora is Inspired by the Victorian pleasure gardens and blooming wildflower meadows of the windswept Scottish countryside, expressing an ephemeral moment of nature in a bottle. Flamingo Estate is a house for dreaming and full-bodied garden pleasures made from Mother Nature’s most precious ingredients. Together, Hendrick’s and Flamingo Estate conjured distinctive notes of Spring and fossilized them in this collection to celebrate the pleasures of gardens far apart but spiritually near. Available in a limited edition, Hendrick’s Flora Adora is distilled in exceedingly small batches.
Flora Adora is a reimagining of Hendrick's Gin with additional extracts of heady flowers like honeysuckles and tuberose with some underlying honeyed vanilla facets and the slightest hint of juniper.
Bottled in a black apothecary-style bottle and a light pink label, we couldn’t think of a better watch than the Hublot Big Bang in 18K rose gold, to pair this bottle of Hendrick’s with.
Hendrick’s Flora Adora contains the same distillates as Hendrick's Gin but is the most floral gin we've ever nosed and tried.
Flora Adora derives from Latin translating into ‘adoration of flowers’. The floral notes on this gin are off the charts and straight from the feasting on a banquet of fragrant flowers laid out, especially by Master Distiller Lesley's Gracie.
Perfectly suited for Spring floral or fruity cocktails, Hendrick’s Flora Adora is also fantastic in a traditional G&T. Some of the recipes that we recommend include mixing it with St. Germain, raspberry puree, and honey for the perfect rich, fruity, and tart cocktail. Available in limited batches and once it’s gone, it’s gone.
