Tequila production, rooted in the vibrant culture of Mexico, is a fascinating journey that combines tradition, skill, and a deep appreciation for the agave plant. It all begins in the vast blue agave fields, where skilled jimadores carefully harvest the mature agave plants. Once the agave hearts, known as piñas, are collected, they are slow-cooked in large ovens to release their sweet juices. These extracted juices are then fermented in wooden vats, allowing the natural yeasts to work their magic, transforming the sugars into alcohol. After fermentation, the liquid goes through a meticulous distillation process, typically carried out twice, which purifies and refines it. The resulting spirit is then aged in oak barrels, contributing to its rich flavors and deep amber hues. Each step is expertly orchestrated, ensuring that every bottle of tequila embodies the essence of Mexico's heritage and captures the soul of the agave plant.
Aguasol Tequila Blanco is our latest discovery in the world of fine spirits, because ultimately who wants to drink overrated vanilla-tasting tequilas like Clase Azul and Don Julio 1942? For sure, not us here at WCL. Aguasol is the product of four generations of unparalleled tequila producers since 1904. Produced and bottled in México in El Arenal, Jalisco, this premium tequila is made from just three ingredients —sun, spring water, and agave. It's an uplifting, bright, and uncommonly simple tequila. So there's nothing to get in the way of a good time. Tequila Aguasol is a true embodiment of Mexico's rich heritage and passion for tequila making. Crafted with utmost dedication, this exquisite spirit is produced using only the finest blue agave from the region of Jalisco.
With the best-cultivated agaves from the valleys located at an elevation of 1,400 meters above sea level, the results are authentic, robust flavors, with notes of herbs and citrus. Distinguishing itself from others by utilizing a production process with origins since 1904, Aguasol is extremely smooth and exquisite. Tequila Aguasol is distilled twice, the first being in stainless steel/copper tanks and the second in full copper tanks, cutting the heads and tails during both to separate the heart of the tequila. Aged in small batches, Tequila Aguasol uses American Bourbon barrels. The tequila is then rested for 15 days in stainless steel. The result is a pristine and crystal-clear tequila with vibrant aromas and a clean, smooth finish, perfect for savoring on its own or in classic tequila cocktails.
With each sip, Tequila Aguasol Blanco transports you to the sun-soaked landscapes of Mexico, where the agave plants bask in the warmth and nourishment of the tropical climate. The result is a tequila that captivates the senses, boasting a smooth and velvety texture, balanced flavors, and a delightful aroma that hints at notes of caramel and a touch of citrus. Extremely smooth on the palate and the throat, whether enjoyed neat, as the star of a refreshing cocktail or paired with a delectable meal, Tequila Aguasol is a testament to the artistry and legacy of Mexican tequila production.
