Girard-Perregaux Laureato Skeleton Rose Gold
One of our favorite watches without a doubt is the Girard-Perregaux Laureato Skeleton Rose Gold ref. 81015-52-002-52A with a 42 mm case. A direct descendant of the original Laureato model launched in 1975 but with a modern reinterpretation in what we believe to be one of the best open-worked watches out there. F.P. Journe lineSport Chronographe Rattrapante
This amazing watch is available in platinum, 18K 6N gold —the one we have here— or grade 5 Titanium. But what makes this watch so special? Well, not only the fact that this is an F.P. Journe in all the sense of the word, but this is also a‘rattrapante’ chronograph—split seconds. The F.P. Journe Linesport Chronographe Rattrapante is cased in a generous —but which doesn’t wear as big as its actual size— 44 mm case in 6N gold with a silver guilloché dial covered with ruthenium featuring an oversized date aperture, applied matte 6N gold Arabic numerals, silver chronograph counters, and matte 5N gold hands. The case and bracelet are finished with a hammered finish to give them a matte appearance and the tachymetric scale bezel is inlaid with black ceramic. More on this watch here.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition Calibre 948 World Time
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition World Time is available in a highly exclusive limited edition of 20 pieces and is cased in an 18K pink gold case measuring 43 mm in diameter by 14.13 mm in thickness and is equipped with a world time complication and an orbital —24-hour revolution around the dial— flying tourbillon. The dial is a remarkable work of art in miniature created by the master artisans of the Manufacture’s Métiers Rares atelier. Uniting the skills of champlevé enameling, guillochage, and lacquering, it requires long hours of meticulous work to complete one example. The dial portrays a domed map as seen from the North Pole, showing the beautifully decorated continents, miniature painted with the champlevé enamel technique. The enameling alone requires more than 20 hours of work. More on this watch here.

Journe uses it for their movements—, now Parmigiani Fleurier is equipping some of their watches with solid gold movements and such is the case of the new Toric Chronograph Rattrapante. The Piaget Polo 79 is a revamped version of the classic polo watch that became an icon in the 1980s. Vacheron Constantin Historiques 222
Vacheron Constantin presents a contemporary re-edition of the 37 mm 18K yellow gold 222 "Jumbo”. The 222 was an emblematic sporty-chic model launched in 1977 that marked a turning point in Vacheron Constantin's classic creations and that was designed by Jorg Hysek —not by Gérald Genta as many like to believe. For this reinterpretation, Vacheron Constantin maintained all the original design cues down to the case size but added a new type of clasp —triple-blade rather than double-blade— to the bracelet, as well as a display case back that allows for a full view of the new-generation calibre 2455/2.
