As many of you know, over the past six months, the visibility of accounts with a very large number of followers like ours, has been compromised by Instagram's desire to drive up their advertising revenue. As our following on Instagram has plateaued at the 125,800 follower mark and the number of likes per post have significantly dropped no matter how hard we try, we find it harder and harder to feel motivated to spend as much time posting as we used to and liking posts of those that we follow. You can follow us here in case you are not doing so.
Since many of the accounts that we love/follow now rarely appear on our feed thanks to Instagram's algorithm changes, we've decided to put together a list of ten IG accounts —solely belonging to watch collectors with no watch dealers, reposting accounts or watch industry professionals included— that we are not seeing on our feed as frequently as we used to but that we absolutely love and we think you should follow in case you're not already doing so. One thing all these accounts have in common is that all the content is created by their owners and are not one more of the too many reposting accounts on IG like @whatchs and others.
While there are many more IG accounts that create unique content on a daily basis, we can only feature so many in just one article. For those of you that didn't make it to this list, don't worry, we will include you for sure on the next one.
