This new watch is available in three different dials and was created focused on those traveling around the world. The Vacheron Constantin Overseas World Time ref. 7700V is fitted with a robust stainless steel case measuring 43.5 mm in diameter and 12.6 mm in thickness.

Three new models, are now reviving three icons much sought-after among collectors. The Vacheron Constantin Overseas Chronograph ref. 49150/B01A-9095 is a timepiece that needs very little to no introduction. The Vacheron Overseas is a watch inspired by the sea and by the lines of the Vacheron Constantin '222' —a 37 mm watch designed by Jorg Hysek Sr. in 1977 to celebrate the 222nd anniversary of the manufacture and to compete against the Patek Philippe Nautilus and the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak— and in our opinion with some cues from the defunct Vacheron Constantin Phidias.

News: Introducing the Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Ultra-Thin Calibre 1731. The Thinnest Minute Repeater in the World, Now in Two New Platinum-Clad Versions.

Here we have another two new pieces also just unveiled at 2015 Watches & Wonders in Hong Kong. The new Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Ultra-Thin Calibre 1731 is the thinnest manual wound calibre and the thinnest manual wound minute repeater watch on the market, at respectively 3.9 and 8.1 mm thick. Initially introduced in 18K 5N pink gold, this timepiece now appears clothed in a platinum case —framing a silvered opaline or slate-colored opaline dial— naturally bearing the prestigious Hallmark of Geneva. The first repeater watch appeared in the 18th century in an age before the advent of electric lighting. The timepiece enabled its owner to tell the time in the dark by means of an audible indication. While this complication is no longer an imperious necessity, it nonetheless remains a pinnacle of the watchmaking art. Each minute repeater watch is indeed unique and carries the signature of the master artisan who made it.

With this new watch —a unique-piece—, Vacheron Constantin showcases its expertise in creating original and exclusive calibers providing a highly specific time read-off. This exceptional timepiece is distinguished by its regulator-type display, inspired by the precision clocks used to adjust watches from the 17th century onwards. Along with this dissociated display of the hours and minutes, the 2460 RQP movement specially designed for this model also drives a major horological complication: the perpetual calendar. oday, September 17th, 2015 will be forever remembered in the history of horology as the most complicated watch ever created gets unveiled. In François Constantin's words: “ Do better if possible, and that is always possible”. The very essence of this motto drives Vacheron Constantin to cultivate special ties with the great patrons and exceptional men whose dreams have fired them to contributing to the advancement of art and of haute horlogerie over the past two centuries. To celebrate the 260th anniversary of Vacheron Constantin, the manufacture has created the most complicated timepiece ever made featuring 57 complications —three of them never seen in a watch before. The pocket watch ref. 57206 was developed and finished over the course of eight years by the hands of three master watchmakers. Below are some of the complications never before seen in a watch and that are included in the new Vacheron Constantin ref. 57260. Up to date the most complicated watches ever made were the Patek Philippe Calibre 89 with 33 complications, the Patek Philippe Star Calibre 2000 with 21 complications, the Patek Philippe Henry Graves Jr. Supercomplication and the Vacheron Constantin Tour de l'Ile with 16 complications.

Following up with our SIHH 2015 of Vacheron Constantin's novelties presented last week at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie, we bring you two exceptional creations from the manufacture that is celebrating its 260th anniversary this year. Vacheron Constantin enriches its Métiers d'Art collection with two new timepieces equipped with entirely hand-engraved movements. At the heart of a platinum case, calibres 2260/1 and 4400/1 are adorned with acanthus leaves, an inexhaustible source of inspiration since Antiquity. Métiers d'Art Mécaniques Gravées is a further demonstration of technical and artistic excellence.

This year, Vacheron Constantin is celebrating its 260th anniversary and has just released nine fascinating timepieces —seven of which are part of what is now called the Harmony collection and all fitted with cushion shaped cases— that include three monopusher chronographs that are out of this world.

Inspired by the Vacheron Constantin Chronograph ref. 3306 from 1928, these new creations are fitted with elegant cushion shaped cases and powered by the very sophisticated calibres 3300, 3200 and 3500 with Maltese cross on the column wheel. These creations vividly reflect the excellence of the Manufacture in terms of both horological expertise, with new watches bearing the Hallmark of Geneva, and of artistic crafts embodying the unique skills cultivated by the Maison. All three chronographs additionally feature a convenient power reserve indicator at 6 o'clock.

acheron Constantin unveils three new one-of-a-kind additions to its Métiers d’Art Hommage à l’Art de la Danse collection, based on the highlights of a ballerina’s daily life: learning, training and performance. These creations from the workshops of the Manufacture revisit the ancestral art of Grand Feu grisaille enameling to highlight the art of classical ballet by reinterpreting the works of Edgar Degas. These three new one-of-a-kind models were given an exclusive presentation at the New York City Ballet on May 8th 2014. In becoming a patron of the Opéra National de Paris in 2007, Vacheron Constantin chose to provide a uniquely inspirational stage for the artisanal traditions of the Fine Watchmaking artistic crafts known in French as Métiers d’Art.
