Today, December 7, 2022, we attended the official opening ceremony for the Mexico City Vacheron Constantin Boutique. Not only this marks the first boutique to be opened by the brand in Mexico City —the 5th largest city in the world with a population surpassing 23 million people— but it is also the brand’s first and only boutique in Latin America. This long awaited boutique will cater to the exclusive base of Mexican watch collectors that are always looking for the best of the best.
The Vacheron Constantin Mexico City boutique is located in the ultra exclusive shopping center Artz Pedregal in the upscale Mexico City neighborhood of Jardines del Pedregal. This shopping center includes the most exclusive boutiques inlcuding Hermès, Louis Vuitton, All Saints, Bottega Veneta, Brunello Cucinelli, Cartier, Dior Homme, Zegna, Gucci, Hackett, Prada, Montblanc, Moncler, Rolex and of course Peyrelongue —one of the most important watch ADs in Mexico and the partner for this Vacheron Constantin boutique— among others. Artz Pedregal is also home to some amazing restaurants that we love including Hunan, Sylvestre, Becco, Suntory and Cantina La No. 20, among others.
The opening ceremony was led by Alexander Schmiedt —President for Vacheron Constantin Americas—, Luis Peyrelongue —CEO of Peyrelongue—, Daniel Bing —Head of Marketing and Communications for the U.K. in the process of transitioning to the Americas—, and Juan Carlos Lainez —Country Manager for Vacheron Constantin in Mexico. The ribbon cutting ceremony marked yet another big milestone in the continuous growth of the oldest watch manufacture in the world with an uninterrupted history of more than 267 years.
The cozy and intimate boutique stays true to the look and feel of all other Vacheron Constantin boutiques around the world with the Maltese cross and the Anatomy of Beauty concept. The Vacheron Constantin Mexico City boutique features a red hue color palette —honoring one of the most important colors in the Mexican culture— and exquisite eye-catching artworks by Mexican artist Diego Rodarte.
Important watches across different collections are already available at the Vacheron Constantin Mexico City boutique including the FiftySix Tourbillon, the Traditionnelle Tourbillon Chronograph, the Historiques American 1921, Patrimony Self-Winding, several pieces from the FiftySix collection and even the gorgeous Historiques Triple Calendar 1942 among others.
The Vacheron Constantin Mexico City boutique operated by Peyrelongue is located between Max Mara and Peyrelongue at the main level of Artz Pedregal, Periférico Sur 3720, Jardines del Pedregal, Ciudad de México, 01900. Hours of operation: Mo-Su 11am-8pm.
