Experience: 2023 Le Mans Classic by Richard Mille Record-Breaking Race

A record-breaking race was the 2023 Le Mans Classic with 800 competing cars, 900 drivers, 9,200 club vehicles and 235,000 spectators. These figures consolidate the Le Mans Classic’s position as the world’s largest classic car event. A faithful partner of the Le Mans Classic since it began in 2002, Richard Mille was keen to pay tribute to this wonderful event by revealing a particularly spectacular new watch adorned in the colors of this historical event.

The silence has been eerie these last two years on the outskirts of Le Mans. Anyone familiar with the world’s most iconic historic racing event will know that every second of July, the whole town vibrates to the sound of scorched tarmac in the distance. The legendary race, Le Mans Classic will return not only in 2022 but exceptionally the next year too, in 2023, to mark the centenary of the very first race on the Le Mans 24 Hours circuit.

As part of their involvement with the Le Mans Classic race since 2002, Richard Mille welcomed Jamaican sprinter Yohan Blake and renowned musician Pharrell Williams to be part of the event. While Yohan Blake gave the start signal for the Little Big Mans race, Pharrell Williams waved the French flag at the gridline. The Little Big Mans race is a special race that takes place at the historic Bugatti Circiut and that allows young drivers between 6 and 10 years of age, to experience the circuit in decked out go karts.
