News: Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève GPHG 2019 Winners. Audemars Piguet Takes the 'Aiguille d'Or' Grand Prix.

Excellence, innovation and watchmaking expertise were duly rewarded today November 7th, 2019 at the Grand Théâtre de Genève, on the occasion of the 19th Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève —GPHG— prize-giving ceremony. The international jury of this edition 2019 of the GPHG handed out 19 prizes, including the supreme “Aiguille d’Or” prize awarded to Audemars Piguet for their amazing Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin, the world’s thinnest automatic perpetual calendar. Excellence, innovation and watchmaking expertise were duly rewarded today November 10th, 2016 at the Grand Théâtre de Genève, on the occasion of the 16th Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève —GPHG— prize-giving ceremony. The international jury of this edition 2016 of the GPHG handed out 16 prizes, including the supreme “Aiguille d’Or” prize awarded to the one-year old manufacture Chronométrie Ferdinand Berthoud for their amazing Chronomètre FB1, an in-House Fusée-Chain Chronometer with Tourbillon.

Yesterday morning, the Foundation of the GPHG —Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève revealed the list of the 72 preselected watches in the running to win the “Aiguille d’Or” Grand Prix or one of the 16 prizes —12 categories and 4 additional industry prizes— that will reward 2016's finest watch creations. This edition of the GPHG 2016 has attracted record participation just as in previous years, with most major watch groups represented, along with a number of independent companies.
