After the success of the black ceramic Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar, Audemars Piguet brings back the heat this time with the intense blackness of this limited edition of 100 pieces of the Royal Oak Tourbillon Extra-Thin. The black ceramic satin-finished and polished case measuring 41 mm is seven times harder than steel. Featuring a sunburst pattern on the dial radiating all the way from the cage of the tourbillon to the perimeter, the new Royal Oak Tourbillon Extra-Thin Black Ceramic ref. 26522CE.OO.1225CE.01 sports what is called the “Tapisserie Evolutive” pattern.
The dial with white gold applied hour-markers and Royal Oak hands with luminescent coating, leaves little to the imagination with its opening at 6 o’clock revealing the delicately finished 60-seconds tourbillon in all glory. The Royal Oak Tourbillon Extra-Thin Black Ceramic is powered by the in-house movement calibre 2924, this time finished with a dark grey galvanic treatment and a completely new decoration pattern with côtes rayonantes instead of the usual côtes de Genève.
