Baselworld 2016: Presenting the new Tudor Heritage Black Bay Bronze 43 mm and In-House Movement. Hands-on Review, Live Pictures & Pricing.

Continuing with the Tudor Black Bay saga and frenzy, today, reporting directly from Baselworld 2016, we bring you the news on the new Tudor Heritage Black Bay Bronze ref. 79250BM. This new model is yet another wonderful addition to the Black Bay lineup joining its siblings the Black Bay Burgundy Red, Black Bay Black, Black Bay Dark and the Black Bay Blue. The new Tudor Black Bay Bronze comes equipped with a bulkier Bronze/Aluminum alloy case measuring 43 mm opposed to 41 mm as the other Black Bay models.

Regardless, the new watch doesn't wear much bigger than the 41 mm Black Bays. The new Tudor Heritage Black Bay Bronze features a matte brown domed dial with applied markers and numerals at 9, 6 and 3.

The new watch is powered by the new Tudor in-house automatic movement calibre MT5601 that is an Officially Certified Chronometer, able to provide a power reserve of 70 hours and equipped with 25 jewels.

The bezel is also brown matching the color of the dial and the watch is supplied with a distressed light brown leather strap or a khaki fabric strap inspired by the fabric on the straps of parachutes of the French Marine National.

Perhaps the only thing many of you won't like, is that the new Tudor Heritage Black Bay Bronze ref. 79250BM is equipped with a PVD stainless steel case back.

The watch wears slightly smaller than its actual size and not that far off from the 41 mm Black Bays, the watch definitely looks more rugged and sturdy on the distressed leather strap. In the metal, this is a watch that highly resembles the old Rolex GMT Master Rootbeer.
