News: Presenting the new Armin Strom Gravity Sailing. A 32-piece Special Edition Commemorating the Armin Strom Sailing Team.

To celebrate the exciting and successful second season of the Armin Strom Sailing Team, Armin Strom created a limited commemorative edition of its Gravity collection and gave the team's skipper Flavio Marazzi the first of 32 watches produced for the series. Armin Strom owner Serge Michel, presented the special timepiece to Marazzi during a ceremony on July 10 at the Lake Garda competition in Malcesine, Italy. With striking black and orange colors the Gravity Sailing's dial and strap match the design of the team's catamaran and its sail. The micro rotor of the automatic timepiece is visible from the dial side.

Currently the Armin Strom Sailing Team is in fourth place in the 2016 Great Cup 32 Sailing Series, which is held across Europe —there are two more races before the series concludes in Marseille, France on October 13-16. The catamaran reaches speeds of up to 40 knots and appears to soar airborne when at top velocity. Skipper and helmsman Marazzi is Switzerland's most successful sailing competitor, a four time Olympian, and an Armin Strom ambassador.

The new Armin Strom Gravity Sailing Special Edition is fitted with a stainless steel black PVD case measuring 43.4 mm in diameter and 13 mm in thickness. The watch features a 5-day power reserve with running seconds indicator on the dial and powered by the Armin Strom calibre AMR13 composed of 171 parts, 26 jewels and which beats at a frequency of 18,000 vph. This new watch is water resistant to 50 meters and delivered on a black hornback alligator strap with orange contrast stitching and an additional rubber strap. The new Armin Strom Gravity Sailing is available in a special edition of only 32 pieces.
