The Armin Strom Mirrored Force Resonance was originally released two years ago and then revisited earlier this year at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie 2018. Featuring a hand guilloché dial created by master watchmaker Kari Voutilainen, one of the authorities in dial and movement decoration, this watch is available in a wide variety of colors that include blue, black, white, anthracite, bi-color and even red. Additionally, the dials are also offered in different guilloché patterns that include sunray, concentric waves or even 'à grains d'orge' —barleycorn—. The one pictured here is the concentric waves one.

The Armin Strom One Week Air ref. TI10-WA.11 from the Biel-based manufacture, is a 7-day power reserve manual wound watch that brings the best of Armin Strom in a 100-piece limited edition. The Armin Strom One Week is available in four different iterations —Earth, Water, Fire and Air— and the Air one we are reviewing here, is one of our favorite ones. Powered by the manual wound calibre ARM09, the One Week Air is designed to proudly display its inner workings with a beautiful skeletonized dial ring with white appliqués and power reserve with concentric running seconds indicator at 9 o'clock and is equipped with a light but sturdy titanium case measuring 43.40 mm in diameter and 13 mm in thickness.

Trying to appeal to a more conservative customer that prefers smaller timepieces, Armin Strom has just presented the new Pure Resonance housed in a slimmer 42 mm case —1.4 mm smaller than the original Mirrored Force Resonance— with reduced lugs and crown and practically with no bezel, though the characteristic lip at 6 o’clock remains as an homage to the ability of Armin Strom to customize any of its watches as well as to their founder Armin Strom, who offered this space to clients for personal engraving.

The new Armin Strom Mirrored Force Resonance Water features a stainless steel case measuring 43.40 mm in diameter and equipped with a navy blue hornback strap and an additional rubber strap with deployant double-folding clasp.

This Baselworld 2017 Armin Strom released an innovative concept that will allow customers have their own unique piece with the Armin Strom Watch Configurator. To celebrate the exciting and successful second season of the Armin Strom Sailing Team, Armin Strom created a limited commemorative edition of its Gravity collection and gave the team's skipper Flavio Marazzi the first of 32 watches produced for the series. Armin Strom owner Serge Michel, presented the special timepiece to Marazzi during a ceremony on July 10 at the Lake Garda competition in Malcesine, Italy.

Last Monday, we brought you the news about the new Armin Strom Max Chilton Edition Edge Double Barrel right here. For the unveiling of the watch, we spent an unforgettable day with our friends from Biel at the Texas Motor Speedway in order to watch the IndyCar Firestone 600 race in Fort Worth, Texas. With a rainy forecast ahead of us, we geared up with our Armin Strom Edge Double Barrel and decided to spend most of the time inside the Chip Ganassi Racing Team hospitality tent and the garages.
