News: Presenting the Piaget Possession Cuff Watch with 1,401 Diamonds Totaling Over 32 Carats.
Since 1990, Piaget’s Possession collection has captivated women with its playful spinning elements that awaken the sense of touch. The story began with the Maison’s iconic Possession ring with its central band that could spin freely, enabling each owner to not only enjoy the beauty of the ring but also to interact with it, by turning and twisting it. Cuff Watches also have a long history chez Piaget, dating back to the 1960s.
Combining these two signature designs, the new Possession Cuff watch features a playful rotating bezel set with half-moon-set diamonds and a fully-set dial, creating soft curves and high sparkle. This high jewelry expertise continues onto the fully-set diamond cuff bracelet that has been crafted to resemble the softness of fabric. Made of 18K white gold and measuring 29 mm in diameter, the watch features a full pavé dial as well as a full pavé bracelet. The new Piaget Possession Cuff watch is set with a total of 1,401 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling approximately 32.62 carats. The diamonds form a sparkling river that flows over and around the wrist.
This iconic bracelet design first made an appearance at Piaget in 1982 and has been used on the most iconic collection such as Altiplano, Limelight Gala, and Possession. Created in-house at the Maison’s Atelier de l’Extraordinaire in Plan-les-Ouates, the 18K white gold cuff bracelet is brought to life using an exclusive jewelry technique developed by Piaget. The gem-setting alone takes 30 hours of work. The diamond-paved bracelet is made up of hundreds of fine diamond-set links, all meticulously assembled together to ensure a unique flow over the wrist and an incredible suppleness that makes it astonishingly comfortable to wear.
The Piaget Possession Cuff Watch is powered by the Piaget in-house 56P quartz movement.
