Introducing: Patek Philippe Nautilus ref. 5811/1G-001. The Icon Returns Cloaked in White Gold.

The Patek Philippe Nautilus returns to the center stage after being discontinued last year cloaked in 18K white gold and with a few enhancements that include a bigger case size at 41 mm, a redesigned case and bracelet clasp and a new pull-out piece lever system that replaces the split stem.

Patek Philippe presents a new evolution of a legendary watch design that was launched with the Nautilus ref. 3700 in 1976, of which the ref. 5711 stems. Reference 5711 was launched in 2006 for the 30th anniversary of the Nautilus and retired from the collection last year 2021.

Now, it is followed by the new ref. 5811/1G-001 that has grown slightly from a case diameter of 40 mm to 41 mm. It comes in 18K white gold and a blue sunburst dial with a black gradation as well as several technical and aesthetic refinements. The case is water-resistant to 120 meters and composed of two parts —an interesting reminiscence of the original 1976 Nautilus. The bracelet features a new patented fold-over clasp with lockable adjustment system that provides the wearer a more comfortable feel and a more streamlined look.

The self-winding caliber 26-330 S C can be seen through the sapphire-crystal case back. Its stop-seconds mechanism allows the time to be set with one-second accuracy.
