Today, we bring you three of the watches product of the partnership between Hublot and the 'America's Team'. Yes, we are talking about a very special partnership between the legendary Dallas Cowboys and Hublot. Whether you were a fan of Roger Staubach or not, this watch presented at the end of 2014, will interest you as Hublot is the official watch and timekeeper of the Dallas Cowboys and the first luxury brand to ever partner with an NFL team in the U.S. This exciting partnership brings a total of five limited edition timepieces —50 pieces for each model—inspired by the iconic blue and silver color scheme of the Cowboys.

The first one which we are reviewing here, is the Hublot Classic Fusion Dallas Cowboys ref. 525.NX.0179.LR.DCW14 fitted with a 45 mm titanium case and bezel; the second one, is the Classic Fusion Ladies Dallas Cowboys ref. 541.CN.1170.LR.DCW14 in a 42 mm black ceramic case with a titanium bezel set with 42 diamonds —totaling 1.35 carats— and the third one is the King Power Dallas Cowboys ref. 703.CI.1179.LR.DCW14 in a 48 mm micro-blasted black ceramic case and bezel. The Hublot Classic Fusion Dallas Cowboys ref. 525.NX.0179.LR.DCW14 fitted with a 45 mm titanium case and bezel is a very masculine and robust watch where the Hublot DNA has been properly maintained and where the Dallas Cowboys franchise visual elements have been tastefully integrated into the watch design without overdoing it.

Featuring an openworked dial with sapphire crystal, applied markers and a blue rhodium flange, the watch also features a highly polished applied star at 5 o'clock to celebrate the five Super Bowl victories of 'America's Team'. The rhodium hour and minute hands are faceted and polished, while the seconds hand is in lacquered blue to add additional contrast to the dial. The watch features a 30-minute chronograph register at 9, a running seconds register at 3 and a date indicator at 6 o'clock. The readability of the dial is excellent thanks to the sapphire crystal coated with anti-reflective treatment on both sides.

Maintaining its DNA intact, the case lugs —just as in all other Hublot timepieces— show their pronounced angle with their unmistakeable 'H-shaped' screws and the stainless steel deployant buckle on the black alligator rubber lined strap features the iconic Hublot design.

The satin brushed finish of the lugs along with the highly polished case band join in harmony to create a celebratory timepiece worthy of a touchdown. In order to cleanly add more Dallas Cowboys visual elements to the watch, Hublot chose to add blue bezel guards as a nice contrasting touch as well as a special 'Cowboys' engraving to the reset chrono pusher at 4 o'clock.

The beating heart inside the new Hublot Classic Fusion Dallas Cowboys Limited Edition is the automatic Aero Chronograph calibre HUB 1155 composed of 207 parts, 60 jewels and which provides a power reserve of 42 hours when fully wound. The calibre is visible via the display case back that is properly engraved with the limited edition information. The watch is water resistant to a depth of a 100 meters as long as you don't operate the chronograph functions underwater.

On the wrist, the watch wears slightly smaller than its actual size but quite comfortably. The watch wraps around the wrist smoothly and its wrist presence is really discreet and nice. Next time you are hanging out at Candleroom or attending a Cowboys game with Mr. Jerry Jones, make sure this new watch is on your wrist.
