Introducing: Hermès Arceau L’Heure de la Lune Meteorite. Three Versions with Lunar Rock, Vesta and Erg Chech Meteorite Dials.
The Arceau L’heure de la Lune watch, originally introduced in 2019, is now reimagined in three new versions, in a 12-piece limited edition for each version. Each model features a striking two-toned design, with cases and lugs crafted from different materials. At the heart of every timepiece lies a piece of meteorite: Lunar rock, Vesta, and Erg Chech.
At Hermès, watches are more than just timekeepers—they are daily companions, designed to accompany and inspire the wearer. By stepping away from traditional watchmaking norms, Hermès brings a new, radical, and even paradoxical dimension to time. In a world where every second counts, Hermès offers a different perspective on time—one that invites freedom and escapes.
The mobile counters that display the time and date orbit the dial over 59 days, slowly unveiling the moon discs. This celestial movement is powered by an exclusive 117-component Hermès module, which simultaneously shows the moon phases for both the Northern and Southern hemispheres. A Pegasus, inspired by Dimitri Rybaltchenko’s Full Moon motif, adorns one of the moons on each model, adding a distinct touch from the Hermès universe.
These three models feature a two-tone design, with cases and lugs made from different materials and hour markers that complement their respective dials. At the core of each watch lies a unique meteorite. All three watches feature a case measuring 43 mm in diameter and all are powered by the automatic calibre Manufacture Hermès H1837 movement with a power reserve of 40 hours. Each timepiece is paired with a matte alligator leather strap, crafted with Hermès’ renowned leatherworking expertise with distinctive edges.
