Experience: Fauré Le Page Belt. A Classic Meets one of Our Favorite Belts at the Moment.

Established 38 years earlier than Vacheron Constantin —which happens to be the oldest watch manufacture in the world founded in 1755 with over 260 years of uninterrupted history—, Fauré Le Page is today the oldest French luxury 'maroquinier' —leather goods company— in the world as it was established in 1717, more than a century before Goyard and Louis Vuitton. Much like a rare Rolex Datejust Oysterquartz ref. 17000A that is reserved for those that know, Fauré Le Page would be the equivalent when it comes to luxury leather goods.

What started as a family business dedicated to provide the French royalty with weapons during the reign of Louis XV and Louis XVI, is now a very understated ultra high quality leather goods brand.

Renowned for creating Napoleon's vermeil saber and Louis XVI's hunting pieces, Fauré Le Page evolved in becoming a provider of hand-painted leather holsters and gun bags for the same firearms and weapons their VIP clients were buying from them. Revived at the end of 2012, Fauré Le Page is exclusively sold in Paris, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.

While most of their items are fully handmade at their atelier in Paris, the Fauré Le Page belt is one of the few items made in Spain and one of the latest additions to the products offered by this exclusive Parisian leather goods maker.

Made of supple leather even finer than that of an Hermès belt, this belt is reversible as well.

Available in four different colors, the belt can be purchased with a nice selection of FLP buckles inspired by their imagery including the armor helmet, the bow and arrow, and the FLP initials amongst others.

Incredibly well finished, the Fauré Le Page belt features two different buckle placements and four size holes. A little bit wider than the Hermès Constance belt, the FLP belt is designed for both casual and formal wear. The only downside is that they don’t offer silver buckles; however, the gold plated buckles stay true to the traditional playing used by the brand across all of their items that feature hardware.

Additionally, a major advantage of this belt is that there is no limit when it comes to how many different buckles you can buy at the same time, making it super versatile when compared to Hermès.
