Experience: WCL Collector's Evening with Jacob & Co. First Time the Astronomia Timepieces Make it to Mexico City.
A couple of weeks ago, we gathered with a small group of VIP watch collectors from Mexico City and our friends from Jacob & Co. to present for the very first time in Mexico, the three Astronomia timepieces. With a perfect setting at the ultra exclusive Executive Members Club Piso 51 located in the heart of Mexico City, we hosted a relaxing evening with champagne, hors d'oeuvres and incredible timepieces. As the sun set over one of the largest cities in the world, the Magnums of Taittinger champagne started to flow. With a view that could've not been any better and great company, the Jacob & Co. Astronomia timepieces made their appearance.
As we shared this magical evening with our Mexican readers that have now turned into very special watch friends, we decided to strap to our wrist the new Jacob & Co. Epic X Mexican Edition —limited edition of 50 pieces— and give it a test drive during our event. Ultimately what is an event in Mexico without a watch that has some green, white and red on it. Among the watches we enjoyed that night we can mention the Epic X Chronographs, the Twin Turbo, the Astronomia Clarity, the Astronomia Sky, the Astronomia Milky Way and the Epic SF24 amongst others. With more than $2 Million USD worth of watches, this was for sure a special evening in Mexico City.
As the evening went by and the champagne and hors d'oeuvres including some amazing foie gras sliders and pata negra ham pintxos were passed around, watch collectors and friends of the brand were able to get very close and personal with the stunning pieces that were exclusively brought in all the way from Switzerland for our event.
An evening filled with amazing timepieces, beautiful people and the good life is for sure the perfect synonym to Watch Collecting Lifestyle. Thanks to everyone that came and enjoyed these spectacular watches with us. Until next time at the SIAR 2017. Below, the Astronomia Milky Way, Astronomia Clarity and the Astronomia Sky, a handful worth $1.6 Million USD.
