Experience: Lanvin Mesh Cross-Trainer Sneakers. Underrated Like a Titanium Royal Oak Offshore.
Here at WCL we are suckers for any sneakers made by Lanvin and these orange Mesh Cross-Trainer sneakers are the latest addition from the oldest haute couture brand to their wide selection of shoes and sneakers. While Balenciaga tries to make their oversized geek-ready 'wanna be cool' sneakers —that were truly designed to make small feet look big— a trend, Lanvin —founded in 1889 by Madame Jeanne Lanvin— releases well designed and proportioned sneakers for those with a discerning taste when it comes to shoes and watches.
Despite their loud color, these sneakers don't scream 'look at my designer label shoes', just like that rare Royal Oak Offshore is not calling for attention. Even though these sneakers can be paired with pretty much any sports luxury watch out there, it seems like they look even better when paired with an iconic Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore in titanium ref. 25721TI with the rare and elusive white dial with blue chrono registers.
In 1909, Lanvin joined the 'Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture' which marked her formal status as a 'couturièr' and started making dresses for the Parisian female elite and today Lanvin is one of the most exclusive 'haute couture' houses in the world. Something great about these sneakers is that they're not the typical shoes that would be worn by those aspiring to be Kim Kardashian or Kanye West lookalikes —thankfully taste doesn't come with a price tag.
The Lanvin Mesh Cross-Trainer sneakers are not only the latest and greatest from Lanvin but are also the type of luxury sneakers for those in the know. Available in a variety of colors with contrasting leather appliques or without them, these shoes are as cool as it gets. The orange mesh cross-trainer features contrasting white insets on the back, contrasting laces with light blue, white and orange; are fully lined in black calfskin leather and rounded out by a Lanvin-exclusive contrasting grey rubber sole.
Made of polyamide with an elastomultiester knit these shoes are not only well ventilated but also well made and extremely comfortable. Fully lined with black leather we really can't think of another luxury shoe brand other than Hermès or Lanvin that goes to this extent.
If you are a true watchlifestyler and you are tired of wearing what everyone else has on including those oversized Balenciagas or the overrated camouflage Valentinos that everyone and their mother wears, we guess it's time for you to get a pair of these cool sneakers that look as good with jeans as they do in full yoga gear.
