Introducing: De Bethune DB Eight with Royal Blue and Chocolate Brown Dials

Today, De Bethune welcomes two new iterations of the DB Eight, the manufacture’s mono-pusher chronograph with an instantaneous minute counter at 6 o’clock. The new iterations include one with a polished white gold case and a royal blue dial ref. DB8REWS3, and the other in yellow gold with a rich chocolate dial ref. DB8REYS2. This collection represents Denis Flageollet’s vision for a chronograph in the 21st century and is an evolution in De Bethune’s exploration of the single-pusher chronograph.

The De Bethune DB Eight is equipped with a case measuring 42.2 mm in diameter and 9.2 mm in thickness. Cased in 18K white gold, the Royal Blue model is delivered on a matching dark blue alligator strap with an 18K white gold pin buckle. Meanwhile, the Chocolate Brown dial model is cased in 18K yellow gold and delivered with a chocolate brown alligator strap with an 18K yellow gold pin buckle.

The dials feature a smooth perimeter with silver Arabic numerals and a radiating guilloché center with 12 sectors. The subdial at 6 o’clock is the instantaneous 60-minute counter for this mono-pusher chronograph. The center of this subdial features a barley grain hand guilloché and a polished titanium hand.

The De Bethune DB Eight features a mono-pusher button integrated into the crown for the chronograph start/stop and reset functions.

Both watches are water resistant to 30 meters and powered by the manual wound calibre DB3000 composed of 281 parts and 31 jewels. This movement beats at a frequency of 28,800 vph and provides a power reserve of 60 hours when fully wound.
