News: Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Diver Next Generation ref. 15720ST in 3 Versions
The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Diver has always been a favorite and the entry point watch into the Royal Oak Offshore collection. For 2021, Audemars Piguet has updated the Royal Oak Offshore Diver maintaining the same case proportions at 42 mm in diameter but this time the watch is equipped with ceramic crowns, a new dial with applied ‘AP’ logo at 12 o’clock, a new in-house automatic calibre 4308 and an interchangeable strap system that allows the wearer to switch between straps without the need for tools.
Previously, the Royal Oak Offshore Diver ref. 15710ST and ref. 15703ST were powered by the in-house AP calibre 3120, the same calibre powering the discontinued references 15300 and 15400. The new calibre 4308 provides a power reserve of 60 hours and is equipped with a blackened 22K pink gold oscillating weight.
The three new models are the Navy Blue ref. 15720ST.OO.A027CA.01, the Trailblazing Khaki ref. 15720ST.OO.A052CA.01 and the Pristine Grey ref. 15720ST.OO.A009CA.01. All three models are cased in stainless steel and fitted with rubber straps matching the dial. Additionally, the Trailblazing Khaki features rose gold accents on the dial and rose gold inserts on the crowns matching the dial.
The interchangeable system is integrated onto the back of the plots connecting to the case and all that is required is to press them to switch the straps. For this next generation of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Diver ref. 15720ST, the brand is also offering calf straps as a second option.
Can’t wait to see these new watches in the metal and explore the functioning behind its interchangeable strap system that is a total game-changer when it comes to Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshores.
